Care for your child
Together Time
Establish a regular weekly routine for doing something special with your child ,even if it’s just going out for a walk in the park.
 
Listen Up!
Be an active listener, Encourage questions and probe when needed. Showing your willingness to listen will make your child feel more comfortable about up to you.
 
Hugs and Kisses  
Parental warmth, care and acceptance are pivotal ingredients in effective parenting .Never belittle your child ,pat him, hug him/her and say “I Love You”.
 
Foster Your Child’s Independence
Let Your child explore  childhood fun and do it all by her/herself. This will help him/her feel independent, and develop a sense of self-direction and simultaneously boost his self esteem.
 
Watch your speech!
Try to tell your child what you Do want rather than what you DON’T want. Use of negative remarks such as can’t don’t, no and stop. This increase the feeling  of cooperation and respect, and reduce the number of power struggles you ,ay have with your child. Quality care during early years is vital component of each child’s life. The experience received during early years with parental love and understanding can produce long-term, positive effect for your child.
 
Language Development
Though little ones understand body gestures of elders within weeks of being born, it is important to enhance this ability of understanding communication through speech by using body language and gestures, and bu understanding what others say.
 
Cognitive Development
The children at this stage have an active mind and it is crucial that their thinking skills including learning , understanding , problem – solving , reasoning and remembering needs are enhance through various activities and positive learning experiences.
 
Fine Motor Development
The  skill here is important yet often take for granted by most parent. The child possesses fine motor skills at early ages and should be channelized appropriately to use his/her hands to not only be able to eat and dress but also to draw , play , write, be creative and inventive and in the process develop aesthetic skills.
 
Gross Motor Development
A child needs to be physically strong. At this stage it is important that we develop his/her muscles based on the development need of the child . Gross motor skills vary from simple skills like sitting and walking to more complex ones like running , maintaining balance & changing positions.
 
Personal Awareness
Habits are formed at this stage and it is imperative that children learn nont only about themselves but develop independence, safety, hygiene and self – helps skills.
 
Socio –emotional Development
Children at this stage are egocentric and find solace in company of their near and dear ones. The need to express, share and get acceptance for whatever they do is crucial for their emotional growth .It is important at this stage to build positive relationships with family  ,friends ,teachers and their inner circle for people and to learn social rules like cooperating and responding to the feelings of others while working in a group activity .Beside emotional and social skills the child also builds up a value system that is integral to his /her being.

Why teach with themes? Learning with themes enables the children to learn, to practice and to apply their skills to meaningful contexts. Consequently they have fun learning and retain more. Each of out themes is filled with a wide variety of lesson ideas, kids crafts ideas, games and reproducible pages designed for use with preschool to kindergarten children. Our materials encourage children to practices is essential for improving learning skills and to succeed academically.
